Questions? We Have Answers.

Everything parents ask before their athlete's first session.

How do I get started at Wisconsin Sports Performance?

Book a Free Athlete Assessment. In 30–45 minutes, we talk about your athlete's goals, test their 20-yard dash, top speed, pro agility, vertical jump, and 1-step vertical, and lay out a plan.

What ages do you train?

Athletes ages 8–18. Youth Athletic Performance covers age 8 through 8th grade, and High School Athletic Performance covers grades 9–12. We also offer team training for school and club teams.

Is strength training safe for kids?

Yes. The idea that lifting stunts growth has been disproven by research. Younger athletes start with bodyweight and light dumbbells, and every athlete earns their progressions under a coach's supervision.

Can athletes with past injuries train at WSP?

Yes. We adjust exercises around injuries and rehab, and progress athletes as they're ready, so they can keep training safely.

How is WSP different from the school weight room?

Our coaches have collegiate strength and conditioning experience and coach every rep. We train speed and power, not just strength, test every week, and build training around the high school calendar so athletes peak when it matters.

Can beginners join?

Absolutely. No experience is needed. We meet every athlete where they are and progress them as they earn it, with a 1:8 coach-to-athlete ratio.

How do you track speed and vertical improvement?

Athletes test the 20-yard dash, vertical jump, and 1-step vertical every week, and pro agility every 2–3 weeks. After 3 months, you get a full progress report, and parents can follow every test in our athlete tracking app.

How often should my athlete train?

We recommend 2–3 sessions per week for the best results, and at least 2 per week during the season.

Do you offer summer and team programs?

Yes. Our Summer Speed & Strength camp runs each summer, and our team training builds custom programs for school and club teams around their season.

How much does training cost?

We'll walk you through all options at the assessment, once we know your athlete's goals and schedule. Family plans are available when two or more siblings train.
